Easy Braised Beef

Stick and Ladle


  • 1 lbs Beef sliced into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cup Beef broth
  • 1/2 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 pieces cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 Carrots
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • spring onion


  1. Heat oil in pot then saute garlic and onion. Add the chunk of beef and sear all sides of the meat for 7 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the carrots, cornstarch and spring onions 
  3. Bring to a simmer, cover and turn the heat into low and cook for an hour or until the meat is tender. Also add more water if needed. 
  4. Add the carrots and cornstarch then boil for bout 3 minutes or until sauce becomes thick.
  5. Serve on top of rice bowls and garnish with chopped spring onions.
