Mama's Chicken Soup Recipe

Stick and Ladle


  • 300 grams Chicken Breast
  • Lemon grass
  • 1 Chopped Tomato
  • Spring Onions
  • (2x2 inches) Ginger Chopped
  • 1/2 chicken broth cube
  • 3 cups Water
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Chopped Carrot
  • Chinese Petchay (Optional)


  1. Place chicken in a pan, add lemon grass, onion, tomato, water, ginger and vinegar. Boil until the chicken is tender.
  2. Add chicken broth cube, salt to taste and carrot let it cook for a minute or until tender. 
  3. Add chinese petchay, simmer for a minute. Serve Hot.
